1974 AMC Hornet Sedan Orange 411D

Vehicle Description
I’m selling this car on consignment from a collector, he bought this car almost 10 years ago and it has been in storage since the purchase! For Sale: 1974 AMC Hornet – Sienna Orange Classic Survivor 🚗 Turn heads with this 1974 AMC Hornet, finished in the striking factory shade of Sienna Orange. More than just a car, this Hornet represents a special piece of AMC’s legacy—practical, stylish, and built with the character that defined the 1970s. ✨ Highlights & History: • Purchased in 2016 from what is believed to be the original Connecticut owner. • New tires installed in 2016, they have less than 10 miles on them • Pulled from long-term storage and refreshed with a new fuel pump—it now runs excellent. • Test-driven on the highway with a dealer plate and performed beautifully. • Everything works as it should. 🛠️ Condition Notes (Transparency First): • Car appears to be all original except for an older respray on the right door. The work is well-blended and not noticeable unless closely inspected. • Left door striker has a reinforcement plate welded to the post—a common issue on Hornets, Gremlins, and Javelins due to heavy doors stressing the mount. • Only minor paint blemishes are present, limited to the top of the left fender. (See pics) 🌟 Why This Hornet Matters: • Heritage & Nostalgia: A true AMC original, built during the height of the oil crisis when practicality met creativity in American design. • Legacy: The Hornet platform went on to inspire some of AMC’s most iconic models, including the Gremlin, Spirit, and Eagle. • Color – Sienna Orange: A bold and vibrant factory shade that captures the earthy tones of the 1970s, making this Hornet stand out at shows and on the road. This 1974 Hornet is more than just transportation—it’s a survivor, combining originality with period-correct style and undeniable charm. A great candidate for a collection, weekend cruising, or classic car shows. The 1974 AMC Hornet is a classic vehicle with a vibrant orange color and only 43,315 miles on the odometer. This original owner has had it for more than 5 years and can attest to its great running condition. With a clean title, this AMC Hornet is a reliable choice for someone looking to own a piece of automotive history. Any questions feel free to ask!
