Vehicle Description
This is an amazing car that came out of a long term storage. Shows only 39,144 miles which might be original.Car features the popular 258 inline 6cyl engine and automatic transmission with console. Has optional slotted mags which bear the name "American Motors on the center caps". I am told the color is called Khaki and appears to be in good condition for age. Many hours were spent polishing the body but not much could be done with the roof or parts of the drivers side. All trim polished up nicely for age and looks great. There is one rubber door molding missing on passenger side.No cancer, couple small dents but that's about it. Very minimal for age.Engine started right up and is getting looked at Tuesday by our mechanic for possible carburetor rebuild. Has original blue and yellow California license plates. Is currently on non operation status. Has clean title.The only thing I had replaced was the carpet. I had the color matched as good as I could get it. New from front to rear hatch. Has new rear hatch shocks so lid stays up. Tires are newer but old from sitting.Interior is above average in my opinion minus some dash wear and cracks in certain plastic pieces. Looks like there was a carpeted dash cover at one time with Velcro fasteners.PLEASE DONT EXPECT A NEW CAR AS IT'S ALMOST 50 YEARS OLD!I am planning on taking it to a local Chrysler show this weekend and offering it for sale. I apologize for saying this but I really dont have any time for those of you who are beyond cheap and think things can get delivered for nothing.I say that because certain people think it's cheap transporting cars to Florida for example and think it can be done for a grand.
