Beautiful Italian Roadster

Vehicle Description
This is a beautiful example of a classic Italian roadster. It's a 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio. For a few years in the mid to late 80's Alfa produced the upscale Quadrifoglio version of the Spider. These cars are getting harder and harder to find - especially in as nice condition as this one.- Alfa Red with black convertible top and the vinyl tonneau cover.- Gray leather seats in great condition (one small seam rip on driver's seat - easy repair) with red piping/stitching.- Red carpets (in great condition) throughout the cabin, and in the trunk.- 2.0 liter inline fuel injected engine - religiously serviced and running strong.- Rear wheel drive, 114 bhp.- 5-speed manual transmission.- Rare "Quadrifoglio" version complete with special badging, ground effects and spoilers.- Over $2000 recently spent on new OEM suspension parts, shocks, struts, etc;- New, uninstalled clutch kit included (paid $300) for future use.- Battery "on-off" switch in the trunk for when the car is stored or not in regular use.- Original owner's manual and Alfa Spider mechanics manual included. While not in "show car" condition, this car is as good as you'll find for a 90% original, 37-year-old Italian car that is meant to be driven and enjoyed instead of placed on a shelf. The body is dent free with only a very few nicks/chips, and the paint is (with the exception of a small area near the passenger's side door) nice and lustrous. I just had the car detailed and it came out looking awesome! This car runs great, shifts smoothly, has tires with plenty of life left, and is literally the only Alfa Spider from that era that I've ever seen without any dashboard cracking! For the sake of total transparency, the following are the only known "issues" with this little beauty: 1. The driver's side door locking mechanism does not work to lock the car, but there are 2 spare mechanism's that come with it for someone with the skill and knowledge to install. 2. When the car is cold, the electric windows go up and down rather slowly. 3. Until the car warms up, the clutch will sometimes make a noise indicative of the need for a new "throw-out bearing". This doesn't affect the operation at all and as noted, I've included a new clutch kit with the bearing for use in the future. 4. A new fuse is needed to get the speedometer/odometer to function properly - the mileage stated (90,800) is true and accurate but the fuse blew right when I took it off the road to sell, so the new owner will need to replace the fuse. 5. The A/C works but would benefit from a service and charge.I bought this car from an "Alfisto" during the pandemic and I've only driven it about 1000 miles over the past 4 years. It has been garage kept (next to my 2020 Alfa Guilia), and really only used to cruise the back roads on nice days and to go for ice cream.I'm listing this car with a VERY low Buy It Now price and an even lower reserve. I'm only selling it to make room for a new aquisition. Spider Quadrifoglios typically sell for MUCH more than this (see 'Bring A Trailer' sale results). Shipping is not provided and is at the buyer's expense.
